Watermelon Tag Team Eating Contest!

Join us in the Plaza at 1:00pm Saturday for the 2nd Annual Watermelon Eating Contest. The rules are simple, teams of two will take turns eating watermelon as fast as they can. After each slice is finished, they will tag in their partner for the next slice. It's a race to finish all the slices given to each team. Sign up will be 30 minutes before the contest. Bandannas will only be given out on Sunday's competition. Participants in Saturday's event can also participate on Sunday's competition. All Sign ups are on a first come first served basis.

Eating Contest! Watermelon Tag Team Revenge!

Join us in the Plaza at 1:00pm Sunday for another round of watermelon. If you didn't sign up in time for Saturday, back by popular demand so be sure to sign up or else you'll have to wait another year. All participants will win a limited edition red MikomiCon Bandanna; Made specifically for Sunday's Watermelon Contest participants.

Bridget Shuffle Competition

Think you got the moves?! Think you can best the rest?! Think you can move like Bridget?! Then Step it up Bridget style. The first ever MikomiCon Dance Competition where dancers incorporate the Bridget Shuffle to prove their moves. How does it work you ask. Simple all you got to do is incorporate the Bridget Shuffle into your own dance moves. Bring your own music or choose from our selection. Remember if you've got what it takes to win then you've got what it takes to step up to Bridget. Friday 5-5:50pm Prizes will be announced at event.

Come see the first ever Mikomicon Modeling contest sponsored by OtakuFuel.com We ask our contestants to come up with a "Music" theme for this years first Modeling contest. The contest will range from old WWII kits, to Gundams, to Figures. The entrants will judged in the following categories, best of theme, best of show (which may not have to do with theme), Best Rated by the Fans. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best of Theme, Best of Show, and Best Rated by the fans. Each category winner will receive a Master Grade Model Kit thanks to Otaku Fuel! SUMO!

After you've had your fill at the eating contest, suit up in oversized sumo suits and be the first to score 2 points to win. To score you must either force your opponent to the ground or out of the circle. Matches will be held throughout the weekend. SUMO, only at MikomiCon.

Naruto Wall Challenge!

Race up to the top of a 30 foot tall rock wall. Race your friends and rivals throughout the weekend. The fastest ninjas will be announced Sunday, Sept 21st. Check the Cosplay Gatherings section of our forums for when we exclusively open the challenge to Naruto Cosplayers and award prizes based on speed and costume! Date and time will be posted soon so stay tuned for more on this event only at MikomiCon.

Special Bonus Wall Challenge!

Who is the fastest; Ninja or Pirate? No one has tested the speed, strength, and agility of these two groups. Ninja may be able to fly through the trees, but Pirates must be able to climb ships and escape from within the prison walls. More information on this is on the way.
